Free Flash FLV Video Player

So what does the FLV player do?

Quite simply it enables you to embed your own FLV videos into your website or view any FLV file hosted on the net or saved locally onto your computer.

You can completely customise the player with your own images, logo, controls, settings, colours and much more.

Making it easy for you to provide your visitors with your own branded video interface without having to know anything about Flash.

What do I need to use the FLV player?

To use the FLV Player all you need is some FLV video files and a web browser, if you only want to view FLV files locally or hosted on the net.

Alternatively you will need a website, the ablity to upload files to a web server via FTP or other method, a text editor such as notepad and some FLV files or URL's to FLV files.

You will also need the ability to unzip the download file!

All the instructions you need are supplied with the FLV player or simply view the Flash FLV Player -> README.

So what's the catch?

There isn't one! I needed to create a Flash player for a friend's website and decided I would make the player configurable and give it away for free to anyone who needs a totaly free Flash FLV player that can be fully customised.

Can I see the FLV player in action?

Of course you can! I wouldn't expect you to want to download and use the Flash FLV video player before seeing it in action! Flash FLV Player Demo

FlashVars Guide

Has 154 user settings!

The FLV player comes with an unbelievable plethora of user configurable settings, so rather than trying to list them all here I have created a separate FlashVars reference guide to help explain each option and how they can be used.
